So back to today….we just walked in the door from a weekend away. You see, we decided at 4pm on Friday that we needed to get away. Just for a few nights. We needed to not worry about a structured work/training weekend and instead relax and soak up some D’s (downtime and vitamin D-also known as sunshine). Little did I know that we’d end up enjoying more D’s than planned!
Friday we hit the road for the BIG D (and yes I do mean Dallas).
We may have had a double dose of these each day….
(yes I know, two very expensive habits but we decided to let that slide this weekend)
The hubs couldn't pass up a DOUBLE visit to here…..
There was some Vitamin D we just had to soak up…..
And did I mention the Ducks?
Oh ya, they were in my parents pool. Too cute!
But lets not forget the highlight……
My Daily Dosage of Dorry!!
the hubs and I got to stalk her at work…hehe
Then today I forced her to WHOLE FOODS in order to complete my “D” dosage.
Sometimes we just need to get away to re-energize. And that we did!
My high dosage “D” weekend left me feeling restored. Minus the drive home, haha.
