New Toy Coming!

Woo Hoo! We're so excited! James' awesome coach (the famous Matt Dixon) from Purple Patch hooked him up with an awesome new sponsor. TRX Fitness training! This equipment is going to help him (us) so much when traveling to races, training camps, etc. I think I might hog it for a while. So we'll be posting lots of pictures and videos new exercises, etc. Here's a little bit about TRX core training. You can go to this website to see more exercises and videos. For all you home workout gurus....check it out!

These people look familiar?

What is TRX Core Training?
TRX Core training is performed on the TRX Suspension training equipment and it is a complete bodyweight training system that offers you a fusion of strength, core stablility and balance for athletes of all fitness levels.
TRX Core training is performed on the TRX Suspension trainer using your own bodyweight eliminating your need for bulky and expensive exercise equipment.
TRX Core Training will increase your power center by helping you to develop a strong core that will lead to stronger transference of power from your lower to upper body.
When you use the TRX suspension trainer your entire core will be activated as a stabilizer in every TRX exercise!
Who Uses TRX Core Training?
Athletes and active individuals of all ages and fitness levels who want to improve their physical performance and appearance.
Leading health clubs and training centers use the TRX Suspension training system.
US Millitary and first responders train to become operation ready with TRX core training.
Work Out Anywhere
Because the TRX Professional weighs less than two pounds and fits in a small pouch you can benefit from TRX exercise anywhere. Train at the gym, on the field, in a hotel room or at home.
Our next trip is up to Dallas and then Galveston for couple races so you know we'll packing the TRX!
Happy Almost Hump Day!

These are really cool--there are so many exercises you can do that you don't even realize! Like looping your feet through them and doing push ups, or just one foot and one legged squats...
They have them at my gym, but you have to use them with a trainer. Apparently it doesn't matter to them that I already am a certified Personal Trainer!

How cool! I wish I were a good enough athlete to get sponsors lol. I guess no one sponsors someone for Insanity workouts :)

I have a TRX and I have yet to fall in love with it! HELP! ;-)

I think it will be great for travel but it makes me nervous when I try to use it in a door at home. I have visions of me taking a face plant to the tile in my entry way! HA! ;-)

Hi there, thanks for stopping by at my blog. I like your blog! Wow, triathlon is such a cool sport, I used to date a triathlete in the past and I was then possibly in the best shape of my life as his ideas of dates were bike riding and running events! :-)
Congrats on a cool sponsorship! You must be so proud of your man!
