Counting my Blessings

Today is a simple and quick blog. I wanted to share a great message I heard today (at church of course).
"Instead of getting angry or fretting about what you don't have, look at what you ALREADY do have."  Count your BLESSINGS! Just think of what made you smile this weekend.........

Fun outdoor hike with this cutie (sadie)

A date night with this other cutie (the hubs)

Scored a free glass of my favorite NEW ZEALAND wine at dinner!

Husband and I both ran our awesome trails/roads this weekend. Both of us had an awesome run!
Feeling Strong!

A new yogurt love! Skyr.is is like greek yogurt but its from Iceland. It rocks and the nutrition stats ROCK! I'll review later.
Other blessings.........my youngest brother and his wife get to adopt a baby boy in MAY! Just adding more to our wonderful big family. What a blessing!

So tell me one thing that made your weekend. Was it good eats? Good company? Good training weather?

Cheers to a solid week ahead!

I love this post! You have a beautiful family (including your puppy!)

I was thankful to spend time with my Bryon this weekend! Even though I was sick it was still great to be with him!

April,

Glad Bryon was there to take care of you. Misery loves company, eh? Feel better soon!

Lindsay, this is a great post! I think it's so easy to get caught up in what we're lacking but we're really not lacking anything!
One of my favorite verse is 2 Peter 1:3-4
"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature..."
