Pre Race places and Spoiled Faces

Well, we made it. I have to say, my flight was smooth sailing and I kinda felt bad since the hubs has such a horrible flying day before. No problems here and I actually was flying in comfort.

This is my “is this too good to be true?” face when I got on the plan.
 Ignore the boogers please!

And my in class entertainment on the right.

Um, score! The hubs said he was squeezed between to big guys on his flight.
Oh the luck of the draw, eh?

Now here’s where it gets better. The people, yes the people! We have said hello to so many new and old faces and I can’t say enough of them. We’re spoiled. Spoiled with Kindness!!

One of the hubs’ athletes that he coaches flew down from Alaska to race and support. Him and his wife just happen to be the best people in the world! We were spoiled with their company and an amazing dinner in downtown Portland!

Good People, Good Food (all local), and of course Good Wine!

Today was spent doing a little short pre race workout, stretching, meet and greet at the Expo, etc.
I still can’t get over how amazing the people are at these REV3 races. The sponsors really treat you well.
Heck, I’m not even racing but the good people at RECOVERY PUMP made sure I got in some quality time with the hubs while he was recovering in the boots. My legs are ready to stand and watch tomorrow, haha.

And of course, there’s nothing like a pre race video.

I told the hubs to speak up, but I think he was a little too focused on stretching and his game face. Winking smile
Or maybe I was just being the nosy wife, haha.

I’m off to grab a good meal for the hubs before tomorrow.
No car means lots of walking in the city, which I love. And luckily, we’re right next door to this!

Going into this race has been a little different for the hubs.
I know we are both just thankful for the experience, for the people, for the support.
No matter the outcome of the race, the people alone have left a huge impact on us both!

Tomorrow will be great.
A race filled with passion and strength and people to meet and cheer with.

Cheers from the spoiled Cotters!
