It’s about TIME…..giveaway!

Happy Friday! Good Friday in fact! I always love reflecting on this day. It makes me VERY APPRECIATE of what God has given me.

Today, I am thankful for my (our) path. The path that HE has guided us down. The hubs and I were talking about that the other day, which led to THIS POST. But it also got us thinking about all the amazing support we have been given. Lots of love from family, friends, sponsors, and more.

niece and jameskswiss runmom and me at HHfinish line- CW
Well, we’d like to pass on this amazing support to you all!

Timex has graciously given the hubs some fun new TIMEX toys, including their latest GPS Global Trainer and  two of their G-SHOCK Watches (White and Pink colors).

this is the GPS
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
this is the G-Shock
TIMEX watches and HR monitors have been a great tool for us to use during ALL our training and we can’t thank them enough!

Now here’s the fun part. The hubs wanted me to giveaway the two G-shock Watches (not the GPS, sorry). But I still think that calls for a POWER RANGER POSE!

Don’t know why I am puckering up? Just go with it. k?
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

We will have two winners, one winner for each color watch! NICE!

NOTE: the white G-shock watch is not pictured. We wanted to promote the GPS as it is a new timex gadget but its not part of the giiveaway. Just the 2 G-shock watches.
 Sorry about the confusion before.

To Win:
That’s it! Feel free to tweet about, blog, whatever. Just know that we are super thankful for you guys! Contest will end next Wednesday (April 27th). Open to Canada and US residents.

Now, we would normally do this on the hubs blog, but he still claims to have “bloggers block.” haha!

Cheers!
The Cotter Crew

Wow what an awesome give away! I love that it has GPS but isn't massive like my Garmin. I would totally wear either color too... even the pink just to draw more attention : )

Today I'm appreciative for the sacrifice God gave for us and for all my family and friends, in real life and in blogs!

I'm a VERY appreciative of a loving and supporting husband. He doesn't run (he rides bikes and doesn't understand my need to running) but never complains about my buying equipment (running clothes/shoes) or the fees for races. I think he's very proud that I took control of my life (lost 55 pounds) and am enjoying myself.

I seriously love the photo montage of you and your hubs! :)

I think it's so cool that the watch has a pacer. I've only used a basic watch for my runs but now that I'm getting more serious with running, it would be so cool to have a watch that could pace my runs! Would love it in pink! :) I liked this on Facebook!

I'm so appreciative that my heavenly papa gave his only Son to save sinners!

I hope you and your hubs have an awesome Easter, Lindsay!

the waypoint and route storage is my favorite feature. i ALWAYS get lost trying to find my way back! also, i love that they say call it "leaving bread crumbs" - that's so hanzel & gretel! :)

this good friday i'm appreciating my family. during the recession we all kind of lost our jobs at the same time and co-migrated to the central coast. what started out as life setbacks has resulted in us being closer (in both proximity and relationships). even my grandparents are moving out here so that my mom can take care of them as they age. it really has been a blessing in disguise.

tea-bag said...

hmmm... white or pink? i think i'd go for pink. i'm so not girly but i'm also really clumsy & dirty so the white one wouldn't stand a chance. my counters are already yellow stained from mustard mishaps, there's no telling what dingy color the white one would end up as!

Pamula2000 said...

Hi Lindsay!! I found you through SR. Love your blog! I'd love this in pink! I love that I can keep track of my split times along with my pace. Can't do that with my Garmin 110! I liked them on facebook! I'm thankful for my beautiful family and good health!! :) Thanks for the opportunity!! This would be great!! :)

laula said...

I would love the pink but the black would be awesome too!!! I love that it has a tracker to compare against your previous times too!

As for Good Friday thankfulness, I'm just thankful that my health is almost back to the way it used to be after 1 year of being incredibly ill. This year has been a year of learning, healing and perseverance!

I also like Timex on facebook :)

ps. LOVE THE BLOG!

I like the pink colors!!

What an awesome giveaway!!

wow, the 4 window display is pretty cool, although i don't know i'd be able to digest all that information mid-workout :) i'm appreciative of the family time i got this weekend! friday brought meeting some of my newest cousins (second cousins?), 2 1/2 and 5mo old!! I'd go with black :)

Hey Lindsay; what a fun giveaway! Thanks for your husband's generosity...so neat. :) I "liked" Timex on FB and checked the website out...love the different watch mode features! Very cool. And while I'm normally a black girl, I thought going pink would be fun - a color change for me! :D

On Good Friday I was with my friend in Morocco (crazy story!) and we took some time to head to the beach and read the Good Friday story from the Last Supper through Jesus' death. It was a valuable time to reflect and spend time with her, sharing our faith and deep gratitude for Christ's journey to the cross. Thanks for allowing me the chance to reflect again.

He is Risen! Happy Easter, and thanks again for the thoughtful giveaway; your readers are thankful for you too!

I'm appreciative of a husband who is a man of God. He works to better himself by reading and knowing the Lord's word so that he can impact the community through his work.

I love that it's a small-sized watch but multi-functional! I'd love a pink watch :)

I love being able to track where I have been. For sure I would choose the pink, but wouldn't turn down the white. It is has been arough several months so sad as it sounds, I was just grateful on Good Friday that nothign else has gone wrong

holy awesome watch!!! i've been thinking about splurging and getting myself an old school garmin on amazon...but this timex looks WAY more legit! i love that it doesn't require any calibration. that is my biggest complaint w/ my current running watch!

The GPS Global looks like a SWEET watch. I currently have an old Polar w HR monitor, but I would have to say my favourite thing about the Timex is that the heart rate monitor doesn't cross talk with other monitors. I can't tell you how many times I have been at the start of a race and my watch is going bonkers because of the 100s of people all geared up with their technology right next to me. My Garmin even does this too! I also love that Timex has the online tool and database where you can upload your workouts and analyze them: I'm such a sucker for pooling through the data and looking at the graphs! ( Sorry, running nerd! :P)

This Easter, I am far away from my friends and family for the first time in years. But yet I am extremely thankful to be ALIVE at this time of year. Religiously the holiday is all about rebirth, but this time of year reminds me of my dearest friend Jill Costello who didn't make it to see Easter this year. She passed away last summer from Stage IV lung cancer, at age 22, and she never smoked and was a D1 NCAA athlete. She was the most amazing person I ever met, and while I miss her every day, it's the holidays like Easter that remind me just how LUCKY I am to be there, and that I should enjoy every second of it, not only simply because I CAN but because she couldn't. And so enjoy it I Did- I invited over new friends ( i just moved to a new city), I cooked many gluten free brunch recipes which I am trying to put up on my blog, and had some mimosas!

I've been lurking around your blog for some time and I must say I really enjoy it. Future commenting will now commence ;) Glad you had a nice holiday!

How about all 4:
1. - I like ALL the features of the Timex GPS Global. I have never owned a GPS / sports watch of any kind, so anything that would get my iPhone off my upper arm is a great idea to me!
2. - I will become a facebook fan of Timex Sports right after commenting.
3. - I always appreciate Good Friday (which naturally leads to appreciating Easter), and the sacrifice Christ made for us. But, this year it was even more special to me, as I lost my 4-year-old niece to cancer in December (the reason I'm now training for my 2nd marathon, as well). This Good Friday and Easter brought me the reassurance that she IS still alive and I WILL see her again. What could be greater than that?
4. - Pink!!

I also wanted to say I love your last name! :) I enjoy your blog, as well.
