Florida in a Nutshell…..a rather LARGE nutshell…….
The first few days of sponsor obligations and of course the 70.3 World Championship Race itself.
Hanging out at the Expo and catching up with sponsors. :)
Supporting fellow athletes and pros. This last picture is the 1st and 2nd place winner going at it, neck and neck!
Then the last 4 days were all about US!!!!
You know you’re on vacation when…………..
The smallest things make you smile, like walking on the beach and finding large sea shells.
You know you’re on vacation when…………..
Your morning is spent making a good breakfast (poached eggs in balsamic vinegar and sweet chili pepper) then reading and relaxing on the beach.
You know you’re on vacation when……………
You spend way too much $$ trying to be touristy at the “world’s most spectacular aquarium.” haha! (Dorry, the bird pictures are for YOU!!).
Okay I did like the cool star fish, but I was not all that impressed. I guess we should have stayed for the mermaid show, haha!
You know you’re on vacation when…………..
You spend your last night eating copious amounts of seafood and sushi yet still manage to squeeze in some ice cream!
And finally, you know your on vacation when………………
you take time to watch the sunrise and sunset.
you spend time with one another and see old friends.
you gaze out the ocean, contemplating whether or not to go for a swim (he did by the way).
and you go 4 days without washing, drying, or even rinsing your hair! Sandy and wind blown is the new look now, right?
Alright, about to touch down in Austin.
You can officially say it now…“Welcome Back COTTER.” Like I haven’t heard it before. hehe!
