Do you ever feel that way about your weekends? Blink, they are gone! I think everyone feels that way. Fortunately, this past weekend was full of blissful blinks that my eyes will always remember.
Blink #1- spur of the moment date with the hubs
Then I made him do the best Jersey Shore expression out there. Is the hair high enough?

Blink #2- Celebrating 30yrs of MEL!!!!
We had the LUXURY of celebrating with Mel at the very VINTAGE St. Cecilia in Austin. This place was amazing and very vintage retro. The theme was Cocktails and Cupcakes. Now that’s my kind of party!
Old Cars in the drive way? Anyone know what type of car this is? The hubs knew!

Even the outdoor pool had SOUL.
More cupcakes….. these were the special VEGAN cupcakes that all our FOODIE friends enjoyed!
Of course there was wine…….so divine!
And what pairs well with wine? BRIE and an assortment of grapes and French bread.
The beer was just “chillin” in the OLD FASHION tub.
And I found my favorite chair to relax in.
Blink #3- Changing in up….my winter hair “do”
And like that, the weekend was over. Time for a new week. The last week of October. Time to stock up on the last bit of Candy Corn!
Now I must go shut these eyes, they are worn out! :)
