Family Filled Fourth

So the hubs has been away the past few days which means the FOURTH was spent with the rest of the FAMILY (mom, dad, sister in law, brothers, nieces, nephew, etc.)  Not many words can describe it......just laughter, love, and good 'ol Texas BBQ!

We got festive!

Laughed and Played
and played (hide and seek)

and playing.....

And then we got a little tired and cranky which means time to EAT

The lovely colors

the TEXAS GRUB!!

The Red, White, and Blue Cake

And the Love........

a few hugs......(sister in law)

some smiles....... (me and mom)

some smirks.......

more love........(my dad and the nieces)

And more hugs ............(watching the fireworks)

Hope your 4th was filled with all of the above!

Cheers,
 LC

P.S.
Don't forget to see who one the giveway here! I'll be back tonight to report Bre's Mission Monday report. Yea!

Your niece has really pretty eyes.

I always wondered if I had kids whether they would have brown eyes like Mike or blue like me :) I'm sure it would be a boy with brown eyes and flaming red hair so we will spare him the ridicule and just not have one ;)

I'm glad you had a great BBQ!

Hey there! Thanks for your comment on my blog. You're in Texas, too? That's awesome. I live in San Antonio.

Your blog is wonderful. I look forward to reading more! :)

Awww, too cute, you made me smile wide at the screen (I rarely do that on a computer). You'll never guess this! Some random guy at the market asked me if I knew if coconut oil was any good. I was like, "ugh yea! I just won some!". O the irony!
You are so gorgeous! Its a pleasure looking at you and your family!
