Totally Milkin' It

Hello! How was the weekend? Too short as always. Again I woke up today thinking it was Sunday....WHATS WRONG WITH ME? The hubs alarm actually went off at 4:45am and I told him to shut it off, haha. He said...."Buts its Monday, we gotta get up and go." Bugger!

Anyway, this weekend was HOT HOT HOT and HUMID HUMID HUMID. I actually cut my long run 2 miles short outside and finished it up inside in the gym. Just couldn't lose any more sweat....eek! Luckily, the good people at ATHLETES HONEY MILK sent us a variety pack of their recovery drink. I took the Honey Flavor with me to the gym for post run and I am SO SO SO GLAD I did! Great simple ingredients that are gluten free and lactose free and full of protein. You guys have to check them out....that's if you can handle dairy. I can only handle goats milk dairy and lactose free cottage cheese but the HONEY Milk didn't upset my stomach at all , it was actually nice on my stomach....definitely a bonus!

James and I both loved all the flavors but Coffee Light was kinda my favorite. It tasted like a Starbucks latte....AWESOME! James loved the Vanilla. He such a vanilla guy! Simple good taste.

We're going to continue to use ATHLETES HONEY MILK for our post workout "quick fix" recovery this week. I'll let you know how the training/reovery goes! Lots of swimming, cycling, outdoor conditioning and strength, running, etc. Excited!

See....we're ready to run! Kswiss Style of course!

That sounds like a great recovery drink! Lactose upsets my stomach too, so this is definitely a bonus! P.S love the matching K-swiss...you two are so cute! Have a fun an energizing work out week! Cant wait to read how things turn out!

The light version sounds much more my kind of drink, a LOT less sugar! I loooove Muscle Milk, it tastes so good. I wonder if this tastes like it? I really like the all natural ingredients in the Honey Milk though.

Hmmm i have never heard of honey milk - but it looks interesting! My normal recovery drink is water (or a little gatorade if I have been racing...)kinda boring really!

Honey Milk sounds awesome, I wish I could handle dairy. (I'm finding it's not just the lactose I have "issues" with.) In fact, my recovery drink used to be a cold glass of organic 1% milk over ice. Perfect balance of protein, sugars, and minerals. But these days, it's coconut water! Maybe I should add some Bovril or Marmite? HA!!!!

Thank you, Lindsay.

For those of you who like Muscle Milk, HoneyMilk tastes much better, is made from REAL MILK, does not contain heavy metals, and only has 8 ingredients!!!

Please take advantage of the Buy One Case Get One Free discount that Lindsay recently posted and let us know what you think of our Natural Recovery Drink.
