Flip to FLOP!

Torture Tuesday is over! Started off well with a yummy breakfast, chocolate protein oats/crispies with cottage cheese and raspberry preserves.

the protein oats are hiding underneath. about to mix it all up!
This refueled me after I taught my Total Body Conditioning class this morning. And I was impressed with my class, they killed it! We were sweatin' up a storm. Mission accomplished! The rest of the day was filled with flips and flops. Meaning, one thing went well then another went bad and so forth and so forth. Which leads me to dinner......ugh... I was meaning to make a twist on a some sweet potato crepes/pancakes and instead it turned into a cottage cheese sweet potato mush. In the words of Kei$ha...."Blah Blah Blah." At this point I was super frustrated and hungry so I whipped out the eggs and corn tortillas and made spicy sweet potato breakfast tacos. I took the "blah" sweet potato mixture, added cumin and chili pepper along with 2 eggs scrambled, threw them in a tortilla and added some chalula sauce. On the side, chicken sausage and veggies.

My husband thought they rocked but I was still bummed so I didn't really savor any flavor. haha!
Have you guys had a flop meal before? If so, were you able to save it?

Off to redeem myself with a killer protein smoothie. That I know I can do!

Eggs to the rescue! Seriously I can scramble just about anything with eggs, add some sauce and call it good :)

April,

We use 1/3 cup rolled organic oats and 1 cup brown rice crispies. THey make a great mush with the oats heated and they are not as high in carbs. Love it! Then we use chocolate biochem protein and cottage cheese. THen I added a little raspberry perserves on top. YUMMY!

That wrap looks pretty good to me! Some of my stuff comes out just OK, but I did have one major fail...I actually had to throw the whole thing out b/c no one would eat it!
