Count ‘em: WIAW & WIWW

Happy Wednesday All! I really must say, I’m starting to love my WIAW and WIWW. Makes me focus so much more when I have that accountability. Plus I always like drooling over everyone else’s eats (thanks JEN). Sounds so bizarre in reality, but not in the blog world. haha!

Anyway, let’s get things rolling with some WIAW.
untitled

I call this the Triple “C” Breakfast
GF Corn Flakes, Cinnamon, and Coconut yogurt. Okay, the Coffee makes it Quadruple “C.”

Leftover Whole Foods Bar. Can you even tell what that hodge podge is?
 Either way, tasted good!

Let’s not forget my beloved.

Dinner was interesting. We like to call this our PEASANT MEAL.
All things cheap but nonetheless Nutritious and Delicious! Millet, kidney beans, vegetable marinara with a poached egg.

My favorite part? Well, lets just say one of my clients gave me a special gift.
The hubs and I love our Sake!.

Now for the sweat fest. Here’s a little WIWW

(What I Worked Wednesday)

THE COUNTDOWN

Dynamic Warm Up-
Here’s the main set. It’s a countdown routine. Start with 12 reps and work all the way down to 1 rep.
  • Example: 12 burpees with push ups, 12 jump lunges,12 plie squat hops, 12 tricep push ups, 12 mountain climbers, 12 lower leg raises.
    • Now go down to 11 reps of each. Do this till you get to 1!!!
Cool down with cardio and stretching. This is an shorter but intense body weight workout. Love it!!

I’ll end on this. Anyone else find it funny that we are so “intrigued” with what other people eat? That being said, I’m off to read up on the WIAW links.

Cheers!
LC
p.s.
I almost forgot. Sadie wanted to be included in WIAW. She thoroughly enjoyed a homemade treat from Natalie. Thank you Natalie!!

I honestly sat here and thought, "why is she posting this today? It's Friday!" And then I realized that it really is Wednesday. And it's all the more sad because this Friday is my birthday and I certainly know that it's not my birthday today. I think that I just realized that I need a day off. Wait, I'm taking one on Friday. So again, there's ANOTHER reason I should have known that today is in fact NOT Friday.

Help.

Kristina @ spabettie said...

AWWW, that's awesome Sadie is participating AND that she has tasty treats! :) I love our WELL LOVED pups! my WF Hot Bar always looks like that too, a hodge podge is a great way to describe. the peasant meal looks perfect to me too. it is VERY peculiar how interested we are in other peoples eats... serves as inspiration, yes?

I did burpees this morning and they DID NOT break my knees! :) *progress*

Looks good! Your beloved is my beloved as well. Except I limit myself to drinking Kombucha only on Saturday. Go figure.

I like reading what other people eat because it gives me good ideas!
I like your recipes and meals because they are usually right in my neighborhood of what's good.

Do you eat meat besides fish and eggs? Im nosy.
I don't and I keep thinking we eat very similar diets.

Vanessa Hills said...

Intense workout, looks great!
Ooh...a poached egg on just about anything is heaven. Yum :)

Emma (Sweet Tooth Runner) said...

Your breakfast. There are no words. That sounds like the best combo EVER!! And your dinner looks AMAZING! That would be one lucky peasant who got a meal like that! :P

And I am bookmarking that workout!! Bet you really feel the burn after that one huh? ;)

I LOVE seeing the eats and workouts of people like you, because it's so INSPIRING! And because I'm nosy too! :P

We're so nosy, right?? PS. that workout looks awesome!! I'll definitely be trying this one on the beach with my friend who lives ON a beach this spring. :)

I'm totally intrigued by what other people eat. It gives me so many ideas. I am good on breakfast, and usually good on dinner. But I love seeing people's salads and snacks. :D

You make me hungry! Triple C is right up my alley and you know I love some cheap eats! I think I'm the only blogger that has never eaten at the hot bar at whole foods...I always go for the loads of cold stuff.

I love your coffee mug!

I think it's so interesting how the fitness blogging community seems to attract foodies! I, for one, was never interested in food until I started getting fit...ever since then I've been obsessed with finding new healthy fun ingredients to fuel myself better!

I love your peasant meal! Delicious and nutritious. I also love WIAW - I'm just trying to get in the habit of taking more photos of what I eat during the week. I MISSSSSSSSS YOU.

Kris - burpees make me want to cry! CrossFit is notorious for burpees and I'm trying to get *better* at them.

yes, so true. Allows us to EXPAND our HORIZONS. Right? I do eat meat on a
occasion, but honestly don't really crave it much anymore. If I do, it usually
organic meat and in a dish or something. ANd of course, I make it for
my husband. He needs his iron! I stick with fish, eggs, and tempeh (on
occasion). I use a lot of brewers yeast for iron and B vitamins/amino acids.

Loving the Triple C breakfast! I definitely don't need more coconut products in my life right now, but I'm very intrigued by the coconut yogurt. Is it a must-try? Because if it is, I'd love to use you as justification for buying it! :-p

Awesome workout! I need to start mixing up my routine a bit...It's so easy to just hop on a treadmill or cross-trainer, pump some iron and call it good. I'm sure some serious plyometric work would shock my body a bit! :-)

And I completely agree about WIAW...I love seeing what others eat because I glean so much inspiration from all of your ideas! <3

Speaking of Triples, you and James should come do Triple T with me! Check it out if you haven't heard of it... its brutal!

I laughed when I read about your "peasant meal"---I remember the controversy when my aunt suggested to my father's wife that vol-au-vent (basically, puff pastry with a chicken or turkey casserole-type thing served on top) was "le souper des pauvres"---a poor man's dinner... oh, the furor!! And that's when I learned never to apply class indicators to food. :D I like it when others do, though!

And your breakfast looks like dessert... well played!
