To my Nana

I had this great post planned. It involved a new delicious recipe, some humor, and a workout challenge. But that will have to wait because sometimes plans must change. Sometimes life must be put on pause.

Today I lost my Nana. She was an amazing woman who loved the Lord. She was a TRUE inspiration in my life! I aspire to be half the woman she was.
nana_thumb[1]
Today I celebrate her life. Tomorrow I celebrate an anniversary (ours). I am thankful to have a family who laughs together, cries together, and prays together.

Cheers,
LC
p.s.
the recipe and workouts will be posted, in due time of course.

Lindsay, I'm really sad for you. I lost both my grandparents and loved them more than anything. I know how hard it is to think they won't be around anymore. I'm sure your sweet Nana had a lot to do with who you became as a person. She lives on in you every day. You never stop missing them, but I promise, it gets easier.

Big cyber hugs,
Nellie

Oh my goodness girl I am so praying for you and your family. Praying for Gods comforting and unexplainable peace to cover your family in such a powerful way! You are such a beautiful example of faith. Your nana is singing with the angels right now, praising God, and in such a better place than we are! I really dont think the human mind can comprehend heaven, or else we would want to be there ASAP! A beautiful day will happen when you see her again! Love you girl, thankful to know you!

Awwww - Nana's are the best.... They sneak us treats, love us unconditionally, and always make us feel better with cookies or a lovely hair brushing. So sorry for your loss Lindsay - xoxoxo

Hang in there, Lindsay. I've never lost someone close to me before, but I can imagine how hard it would be. Although, it is a part of life that we must accept, and eventually move on from. But, you are right...you should always love your Nana and never forget her. I think that aspiring to be her will be good for you...and it celebrates how wonderful of a person she was. Take your time to be with family...Cotter Crunch can wait. :)

You have my thoughts and love,

Katie
